William Penn Academy

William Penn Academy (WPA) was established in the spirit of William Penn, an English nobleman who embodied the virtues of honor, scholarship and courage. WPA believes in the power of play to help young learners master the English Language. Children experience a play-based experiential learning at WPA. The curriculum, designed by the American Institute of English, USA, provides students with the opportunity to immerse themselves in a distinctly Western culture through classes in English language, speech and drama and STEM classes. There are currently 2 centres in Shanghai with more being planned for in Shanghai and other cities.
